Hi, I’m Núria—Welcome to my little corner of the web.

While traveling through Japan, I learned the word Unkai. It means “sea of clouds,” the kind that wraps around a mountain peak given certain weather conditions. But for me, it also means that wow moment you get when you finally reach the top.

I’ve been journaling since I was 15, mostly on paper. I always travel with a small notebook, writing down feelings, thoughts, and random impressions whenever I visit a new place. This blog, Unkai, is my way of mixing two of my favorite things: travel and photography… and all the awe-inspiring moments in between.
